Minutes were agreed for accuracy.
18/22 Matters arising from the minutes
Cllr Suller still looking into getting some form of barrier to stop parking on the verge around Imperial Way.
18/23 Police Matters
Police report for the Marshfield Ward for the month of September was presented to members.
5/8 and 8/8 racing on Church Lane, 21/8 criminal damage to a vehicle,
Members reported the following issues, cars still using the SDR especially at the weekend as a race track; members have contacted Gwent Police with no feedback received.

Bank balances were reported to members, audit office had contacted clerk for clarification on a couple of matters which were outstanding, audit is now complete with a report to follow.

There are still vans parked in the bus stop and outside Berryhill Cottage, members think they are not taxed, the railway bridge on Hawes Lane is open unofficially, tree blocking the new sign on Junction 28, as yet area is still under construction possibly down to contractors to sort out, trees along our stretch of the A48 have been pruned.
Members were shown a plaque in recognition of Doug Stephens 45 years service to the community of Coedkernew, the vice chairman will present to Doug when he visits him next.
Date of next meeting was to be 16 October; clerk will inform members if date changes due to availability of the golf club.
