20/03 Minutes of previous meeting
Minutes were agreed for accuracy.

20/04 Matters arising from the minutes
Members noted the sign on Pencarn Way had been re-fixed.

20/05 Police Matters
The monthly report was read out to members;
Nothing in the report for the Coedkernew area, although there had been a number of incidents of egg throwing in Celtic Horizon, Cllr Suller had spoken to Gwent Police about parking over the dropped kerbs, he also asked the City Council to complete the double yellow lines at Imperial Way.

Bank balance was given to members.

20/08 Planning
19/1183 Wales and West Utilities, Celtic Springs, Coedkernew.
Tree works affecting tree preservation orders
(no objections)

A member had acquired larger plans for the proposed extension to the NGD which members were shown, plans will be going in to the City Council soon.

20/09 Any Other Business
Members discussed the Boundary Commission for Wales Review of the Electoral Arrangements of the City of Newport: the proposed changes to the Marshfield Ward was presented to members with Tredegar Park, Coedkernew and Wentlooge joining to make a two councillor ward and Marshfield and Michaelestone joining to become a single member ward.
Members also discussed the Transport Commission plans for alternative ideas to ease congestion on the M4 around Newport, website for information:

Road to Church Lane to be cut in the next couple of weeks. Qualification Wales are sponsoring two litter bins at Imperial Way. Celtic Litter Pickers have applied for Biodiversity Awards for up to £1000; members were in support of this initiative
