22/012 Matters Arising from the Minutes:
• The issue regarding the Celtic Horizon Playground had been raised with the LA and a response is awaited.
 The Chair met with the 4 local Chairs of the Community Councils and raised the potential of celebrating the Queens Platinum Jubilee. No plans have been mooted as yet.

22 / 13 Police Matters:
 Police report for January was read out to members.
 The Chair attended the Police Meeting with the PCSO, Michelle Pearson and continues to raise concern over the speed and possible traffic calming measures which could be introduced.
 The Clerk was to write to DPD regarding the speed and danger created by their drivers travelling through local roads. A reply is being anticipated.

22 / 14 Issues Discussed:
 The possible upgrading of the council website was discussed and will be placed on the agenda for further discussion at the next meeting.
 A letter has been forwarded to Newport City Homes regarding the misuse of the green spaces in Church Crescent.
